Fiona practises in commercial, planning and environmental and government law. She has extensive experience in corporate governance disputes and investigations. She also has experience in energy and resources disputes and consumer claims.
Fiona has advised major corporations and government agencies on a broad range of corporate governance issues including directors’ duties, accessory liability, continuous disclosure, insider trading, fraud, insolvency, anti-bribery and corruption and sanctions. She has represented clients in regulatory investigations, undertaken internal investigations into allegations of fraud, bribery and corruption and acted for clients in recovery proceedings.
Fiona’s planning and environment practice includes judicial and merits review of planning and environment decisions, contaminated land claims, water management disputes and commercial risk allocation. Her government practice has included advice to and representation of state and federal government entities on civil claims, regulatory processes, administrative law and FOI.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Fiona was a partner at Ashurst for ten years and previously spent ten years working in the UK.
