Chris advises on development approvals for the full range of land development and use applications.  He is experienced in acting on behalf of developers, government agencies and third parties.  Chris has considerable experience with environmental assessments under State and Commonwealth legislation.

Chris frequently advises on planning scheme matters and amendments.  He appears regularly at the VCAT, before Independent Panels, various government advisory committees and on appeals from the VCAT to the Supreme Court.  Chris also appears in other tribunals including the Liquor Licensing Tribunal, the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation and the AFL Tribunal.

Chris also advises on claims for compensation for the compulsory acquisition of land, where the claim concerns planning-related issues.
