Before coming to the Bar, Anesti was a senior solicitor at the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office where he conducted high-profile litigation for the State of Victoria and routinely advised on complex public law issues.
Prior to that, he was a solicitor in the litigation team at Allens working on large-scale commercial disputes and regulatory investigations.
Anesti was an associate to the Hon Justice Gageler AC in the High Court of Australia and an associate to the Hon President Emerton in the Victorian Court of Appeal. He has a Bachelor of Civil Law (LLM equivalent) from the University of Oxford, a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University.
