We are thrilled to announce that Conor O’Beirne and Jennifer Vogan have joined List A Barristers following their successful completion of the Readers’ Course and admission to the Roll of the Victorian Bar.

Conor O’Beirne
Prior to coming to the Bar, Conor was a Senior Associate in the media team at Thomson Geer. At Thomson Geer, Conor acted for media publishers on high-profile defamation, contempt, suppression and access to information matters in all Australian states and territories.
Before this, Conor was a solicitor at Corrs in commercial litigation. At Corrs Conor acted for government and commercial clients in regulatory, commercial and public law matters (including royal commissions and coronial inquests).
Conor holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University.
On joining the bar Conor will practise in commercial, media and public law.

Jennifer Vogan
Before coming to the Bar, Jennifer was Counsel Assisting the Solicitor-General for Victoria and an associate to the Honourable Chief Justice Ferguson at the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Jennifer has also practised as a solicitor in litigation at the Australian Government Solicitor and Holding Redlich, working across a range of areas including insolvency, taxation, regulatory disputes and white-collar crime, and in the tax group at Arnold Bloch Leibler.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Juris Doctor with first class honours from the University of Melbourne, where she was awarded subject prizes for constitutional law, corporations law, taxation law and legal research. She also holds a Bachelor of Civil Law with distinction from the University of Oxford.
On joining the bar Jennifer will practise in commercial, public and taxation law.
