Christopher practises in commercial law, specialising in insolvency, equity, and corporations. He has a significant background in business, holding an MBA from the Melbourne Business School. Prior to entering the legal profession, he worked in multiple management positions within the IT and finance industries.

With his involvement in many commercial matters across most jurisdictions, Christopher regularly appears in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Federal Court, Federal Circuit Court and the Supreme Court of New South Wales. A list of some matters in which he has appeared can be found here.

Christopher regularly appears in the Doyles Best Barristers Guide in both the ‘Litigation & Dispute Resolution’ and ‘Insolvency & Restructuring’ categories (Victoria and Australia).  He is also a co-author of Australian Corporation Law Principles and Practice (LexisNexis) and Bankruptcy Law and Practice (LexisNexis).

Christopher is available as a mediator in most areas of commercial law, and has experience conducting mediations remotely via Zoom. He is also a full member of ARITA ­­­– the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association.

Christopher has had two readers: Katherine Wangmann and Rhiannon Malone.
