Roshan Chaile
Roshan has a broad practice in commercial and public law.
Prior to joining the Bar, Roshan was an Associate to the Hon Justice Stephen Gageler at the High Court of Australia.
Before that, Roshan was an Associate at the Federal Court of Australia for two years: first to the Hon Justice Christopher Jessup and then to the Hon Justice Michelle Gordon (now a Justice of the High Court).
Roshan commenced his career as a solicitor at Clayton Utz and Corrs Chambers Westgarth where he practised predominantly in construction and major projects and in commercial matters involving complex questions of law, regulatory issues or public law issues. He has also worked as a graduate researcher at the University of Oxford and taught law at the University of Melbourne (principally corporations law).
Roshan holds a Bachelor of Civil Law with Distinction from the University of Oxford. He completed his undergraduate studies in law in 2008 winning several academic prizes. He has published in Australian and foreign law journals including the European Law Journal, the University of Queensland Law Journal and the Constitutional Law & Policy Review.

Stephanie Hooper
Stephanie practices in a broad range of commercial and arbitral disputes, corporate insolvency and transactional banking and finance matters.
Stephanie comes to the Bar after six years in private practice as a solicitor. Most recently, Stephanie practised in Herbert Smith Freehills’ dispute resolution team and, prior to that, in Norton Rose Fulbright’s insolvency and restructuring teams in both Melbourne and London.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (Distinction) from the University of Oxford. She earlier graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours and a Bachelor of International Business, for which she was awarded the International Business Medal.

Franceska Leoncio
Franceska practises in commercial and public law with a particular focus on industrial relations and employment law.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Franceska was Associate to the Hon Justice RRS Tracey AM RFD of the Federal Court of Australia. She assisted in trial and appellate proceedings concerning employment, industrial relations, public law and migration.
Franceska previously practised as a solicitor in the employment practice group at Ashurst. During that time, she advised and acted in a range of industrial, employment and discrimination disputes for Commonwealth and State departments and private sector employers. She was also seconded to the employee relations group of ANZ Banking Group Limited.
Franceska holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from Monash University.
