Administrative Law (Merits Review & Judicial Review)
Emily practises in commercial and administrative law, specialising in the areas of planning and environmental law, land acquisition and valuation, building and construction, and property law.
She appears regularly in VCAT, at Planning Panels Victoria, the Heritage Council and the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation, and in the Courts.
Emily read with Richard Niall QC, now Solicitor-General for Victoria.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Emily worked as a solicitor in private practice and government, including a secondment to a major construction company. She was also a Judge’s Associate in the Federal Court of Australia.
