Immediately prior to coming to the Bar, Siobhan was Special Counsel at Maurice Blackburn in the employment and industrial law team.
As Special Counsel, Siobhan had the care and conduct of litigated matters in the Federal Court, Federal Magistrates Court, Supreme Court, Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and Fair Work Australia. Siobhan’s practice area included a wide of range of industrial matters (including all aspects of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), industrial action disputes, enterprise bargaining and adverse action claims), employment law, (including executive employment disputes, restraint of trade disputes, contract negotiation and disputes and termination of employment) and discrimination law.
During her time as a solicitor, Siobhan regularly appeared in a range of courts and tribunals. Her experience includes regular appearances in Fair Work Australia, including in contested hearings, applications for urgent orders and before the Full Bench in appellate matters. Siobhan has also appeared in the Federal Court, Supreme Court and Magistrates’ Court, including in contested interlocutory applications.
Siobhan has extensive experience appearing in mediations and alternative dispute resolution processes.

Siobhan was named ‘rising star’ in the 2011 edition of Doyle’s Guide to the Legal Profession. Siobhan received the prize for highest overall achievement for the 2009 College of Law graduates.
Siobhan has a Bachelor of Laws and is completing a Masters of Public and International Law at Melbourne University.
