Administrative Law (Merits Review & Judicial Review)
Justin practises in all areas of commercial and corporate law.
He has recently advised and appeared in matters involving trusts, trustees’ duties, sale of land, leases, estate agents, legal professional privilege, breach of confidence, injunctive relief, mediation, shareholders’ remedies, corporate insolvency, trade practices, proportionate liability, civil penalties, professional negligence and judicial review.
Justin has appeared in all courts in Victoria, at trial and appellate levels, and in the VCAT.
Before coming to the Bar, Justin practised in commercial litigation, first as a solicitor with Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Melbourne (1998-2000), where Justin had undertaken his articles (1997), and then in London with Linklaters, a leading international law firm (2000-2003). At Linklaters Justin was appointed Senior Associate.
Upon coming to the Bar in 2003, Justin read with Matt Connock SC.
